Training Seminar “Understanding ISO26000-Social Responsibility”

In response to the business challenge of finding solutions that will help our professional careers and the success of our businesses in international markets, Close The Loop is conducting a training seminar for the voluntary International Standard ISO26000: 2010. The seminar will be held on October 4, 2012 in Athens, Greece and delivered by experts Panagiotis Panagiotakopoulos and Irene Daskalakis.

The training program is designed to help professionals and companies of all sectors and sizes to implement the standard and gain value from improved business operations and practices.

The voluntary International Standard ISO26000:2010 aims to utilize the benefits of socially responsible operations that go beyond legal compliance. The methodology and core subjects of Social Responsibility will be presented as outlined in ISO26000. An approach for implementation of these core subjects will be offered using examples and experiences of experts in and in relation to Sustainability under Corporate Social Responsibility.

Please note ISO 26000 is not a management system standard. Any offer to certify, or claims to be certified, to ISO 26000 would be a misrepresentation of the intent and purpose and a misuse of this International Standard.

The Training Program has been developed respectful of the resources and information provided by ISO on ISO 26000-Social Responsibility and it covers the following modules:

·         Concepts, terms and definitions related to social responsibility
